The new season is about to begin for Cumnor Chess Club

Chess boardCumnor Chess Club has reconvened after the summer recess, and we’re looking forward to another season of competitive matches against other clubs.

Like last year, Cumnor will be putting a team forward for the Frank Wood Shield (a knockout tournament, comparable to the football FA Cup) as well as for matches in Divisions Two and Four of the Oxfordshire and District Chess League (ODCL).
