Our friends over at Witney Chess Club are organising two tournaments in the autumn.
Witney Rapidplay 2018 – This popular one-day event was an excellent warm-up for the new season, and is one of the best-value congresses around. It will take place on Sunday 23 September 2018. The venue as usual is The Batt C of E Primary School in central Witney. There were two main sections, Senior and Junior (Major & Minor).
Sixth Witney Weekend Congress – This event is taking place 3rd & 4th November 2018 at Cokethorpe School, Witney. There are four main sections: Open, U170, U145 and U120 with a prize fund of over £1900
