The ECF English Girls Chess Championships, incorporating the first
Oxfordshire Girls Chess Championships, is now open for entry on the ECF
website. The dates are Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th October. The venue
is Blenheim Palace, Woodstock. The main Championship is a two-day
Standard Play and there are age-limited one day Minor Rapid Play
tournaments alongside this. There will be trophies to be won specifically
for Oxfordshire girls in every section of the tournament.
This event forms part of the 2nd Oxfordshire Girls Chess Festival and is
just one of a series of events planned for October 2019.
